2 year absence

So it's been the best part of 2 years since I wrote on this blog and so many things have changed! S and I are proud parents to M - who is the most amazing child ever imaginable (yes, ok, so as parents we have to say this, but in this case it's true!). We've bought a house in this foreign land and I see blogger forces you to have a google account, which nearly made me not bother. But since I've had suggestions that I should restart, I fought my way through that google crap and here we are.

Just had a lovely long weekend but the bummer of that is I now have to go back to work tomorrow after a nice 5 day break. I shouldn't be allowed breaks from work as I end up convincing myself I should quit while I'm away. I'm sure it wont seem so bad after my 3rd coffee tomorrow morning but right now I wouldn't bet much on me not handing my notice in before lunch!

I'm fairly sure few will notice this restart however a couple of my truly geeky friends might! Plus C, who I'm sure will.
