Woah, I am shocked to see how long it is since I last posted! Just shows how busy I've been at work recently (which is my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) . I was going to post several times last week but never quite managed.
Work has been busy, working on 3G prepaid - it's interesting on the whole but a few tedious days of looking for over 70 test CDRs. I didn't even get to make the test calls which is marginally more interesting than looking for the results. There's more to come too as changes are constantly being made to the network.
On Thursday I got a surprise call from B! Not spoken to her since last July (which is shocking on both our counts). She is doing well, working too hard by the sounds of it. Also chatted to CA online for the first time in ages who also was on good form and seem to be doing well.
S has abandoned me to go to Holland for Rs hen night. I am joining her on wed (so only a 2 day working week!) which should be a fun few days. The wedding is on Friday, although this time of year can be rather cold in Holland, it seems that the bride and groom have only just thought of this. I'm sure it wont bother me too much, the day should be lovely and the bar is free in the evening. I'm sure I can cope with any amount of last minute panic and flap with that to look forward to!
The replacement mp3 player I ordered from advancedmp3players last thursday arrived today which is amazing, both for the Irish post and my employers internal post system. Means I'll have something to listen to for the journey to Holland. Having bought it, I'll put money on my parents finding my "lost" one in their house now.

We got a Christmas card today, which was fantastically useful. Some dense relative put a UK 2nd class stamp on it - I'm amazed it got here at all, although I cant work out what the Royal Mail did with it to ensure it took this long.
VoIP is not a reality. Eircom line has gone and the little gizmo that lets you plug in an analog phone is now hooked up to the router and the DECT cordless phone and it works a treat! Calling people in Ireland neither party can tell the difference from a normal phone line. You will get bad connections I'm sure but so far I am very impressed.
If you notice the time of posting, its cause I'm at work. I'm doing 2 interventions in one which is going ok, but doesnt mean I get twice the days off which is a shame... First one is done and dusted, 2nd is going well and looks ok, just waiting for the tester to do some tests. Its getting to the point where I am too tired to care, so hopefully will be all done in the next half hour.
